This is what my day looks like. I start off surfing at a traffic exchange, I will need to build up 2,000 credits so I can send out 200 ads. I use the traffic exchanges for my lead capture pages. This will usually take me about 5 hours.

This is what my day looks like. I start off surfing at a traffic exchange, I will need to build up 2,000 credits so I can send out 200 ads. I use the traffic exchanges for my lead capture pages. This will usually take me about 5 hours.

I will then go to niche bot and try and find a keyword that doesn't have alot of competition. I will use this keyword as the page title to build a web page. I made myself a template so I just copy and paste that in my page. I then head off to an article directory to find an article that relates to my keyword.

I add the article to my page, and go look for an affiliate product that people would be looking for if they typed in the keyword for my page. I have been going at it for about 8 hours now.

My next project is to go to the search engines and look for sites that I can exchange links with, I don't usually find more than 3 sites a day to exchange with, takes about one and a half hours. Been at it 9 1/2 hours so far and still have more to do.

I am ready to write a short article now and submit it to a few article directories, this process will take me about 2 and 1/2 hours. Ok been at it 12 hours now, so I will take a little break and head to my favorite forum. Go through the post for about an hour and it's time to hit the sack and start the process all over again the next day.

From all this work I am hoping to get 2 to 10 hits a day to my site. Just think, after I have 4 or 5 hundred of these sites I might have enough traffic to make some money. Is it any wonder why I cringe when I see ads telling me how easy it is to make money on the internet.

As full-time paid employees, many of our life have something in common. First, we are all working hard to earn money for others, which is our company. Secondly, we are are going to experience at least one right-sizing, down-sizing directly or indirectly in our entire career.

During the past few years, a few of my old colleagues and I have experience it ourselves. All of us lost our jobs at different times during the last few years. Two of them even got retrenched twice.

Many of these retrenched employees have good education, are hard working, they are nice family men and women. Some of them are even in senior position with good pay. They gave all they can to the company they work and made sacrifices working overtime without pay for the sake of their company.

Once the retrenched ax start to chop, loyalty and hard work have no impact on their choice of people to axed. The good life after losing your job is going to be a huge blow.

Read this Financial advice from The Richest Man in Babylon written in 1920:

"I tell you, my students, a man's wealth is not in the coins he carries in his purse; it is in the income he buildeth, the golden stream that continually floweth into his purse and keepeth it always bulging. That is what every man desireth. That is what thou, each one of thee desireth; an income that continueth to come whether thou work or travel."

Living in today borderless global economy, everyone of us must start learning how to build our own golden stream that continually flow into our pocket once we got our full-time job. The best time for planning is during when the employment rate is high and job are easily found. These are the best time that should put into good used as the threat of job loss can happen anytime.

Just like The Richest Man in Babylon, he advised that everyone should saved 1/10 of their salaried income and lived on the other 9/10. This 1/10 of our income should be put into good use such as starting a traditional business or an internet business.

According to him, business skills are learner. Yes, you may lose your business investment when you are new but that these are business experiences that every business people must accumulate. Business are one of those trade that can produce the most reliable form of income that keep flowing towards your pocket, even when you are not working.

Do you want to earn the same amount of salaried income after 40 years of working life?

Opportunities for making money are always there around you. The only problems is that you MUST learn how to seek it. It will never come to you. As The Richest Man In Babylon says: "Where the Determination Is, The Way can be Found."

I was recently speaking at a marketing conference when Janet approached me. Janet, a business coach and author, knew that I was a big promoter of mastermind programs. She had heard me mention my personal mastermind, which has been responsible for helping me position my company for the success I have, launching my self-study program and most recently, creating the ULTIMATE Business Breakthrough Intensive - my live coaching program.

Janet asked me if we could speak privately for a moment. As we walked toward a quiet hallway, I found myself quite intrigued. I've never met Janet before so I'm really curious and I wonder what her question could be.

Finally Janet said, 'I know you have a really powerful mastermind, one I'm very envious of. How did you get it going?'

I told her the story of how I've been masterminding for 12 years and that I have a process of attracting a mastermind team that few people have ever been able to duplicate. Generally speaking, I create a vision of the outcome I desire and go into 'attraction mode.'

Next Janet said, 'I heard you say that you are the average income of the five people you spend the most time with. I really get that. I've been with my mastermind group for almost a year and we are all in the same place - lots of goals and very few results. As a matter of fact, we are stuck in our success. What's wrong with my mastermind group?'

I can't tell you how many times I've heard this statement from my clients, my network, my colleagues and complete strangers who hear me share my story about mastermind groups.

If you haven't yet heard of masterminding, let me give you a little more information on it.

A mastermind group is a team of people who come together to talk about their business (or sometimes another type of focus like relationships, real estate investments, spiritual growth, etc.) The members of the group come from a like-minded focus to grow and excel in their success.

Napoleon Hill coined the mastermind concept in his book, Think and Grow Rich. The magical element to a mastermind group is when the members come together and play at 110% a third mindset is created that is unique, synergistic and out-of-the box. There is no other way to access this level of creative brainstorming and problem solving.

A mastermind can also provide a level of accountability. When you speak a commitment to your group, you are expected to follow through. For many of us entrepreneurs who don't have bosses anymore, accountability can be extremely valuable!

Many people when learning of the unprecedented results possible in a mastermind program jump in and create their own program. Sometimes that works, and sometimes it doesn't. Here are some of the things that I've heard about (and some I've personally experienced) in a self-created mastermind group.

- The group gets comfortable and doesn't motivate each other for greater results.

- Someone in the group feels like the unwilling mentor and leader and spends more energy 'pulling the group up.'

- A member starts showing up late, missing calls or is routinely disinterested.

- The mastermind becomes a social club and loses sight of the original charter or focus.

- It's not challenging you in a good way and everyone in the group is grating your nerves and you hate going to the meetings.

The truth is I have had hundreds of people over the last year share with me their 'mastermind disasters' and talk to me about joining my group. I've held workshops to teach people how I attract the right partners, how we run our group, and even given them samples of my mastermind tools.

But for some reason, mastermind groups still fail. My belief is that a group of equals often times needs a leader - someone who can take charge, ensure that the group meets, be a neutral third party and challenge the group to achieve more on a regular basis. It is very difficult to have someone play that role in a self-created group.

How Can You Get Unprecedented Results with Your Mastermind Group?

Here are some tips to transforming your group's results with some proven coaching tools that I use in my own programs.

- Elect 'roles' that each member of the team will hold. For instance, time keeper, note taker, meeting scheduler, mediator, etc.

- Have written guidelines and agreements for how your program will be run. Include things like confidentiality, timeliness, regular meeting schedules, etc.

- Bring in an outside facilitator or join a third-party program. A few years ago, my group joined a three month intensive program. Boy, were we on fire!

- Identify written goals and check in with each other regularly. I suggest at least once a month.

- Uplevel the game - create unique challenges to each other to achieve more. Create some stakes that everyone can have fun with. This works well when someone needs to handle an issue or energy drain - like clutter.

Here is the most important thing. If you have a mastermind that isn't serving you, you need to get out. I know from first hand experience that if you have 'lost that lovin' feeling' for your group and there is no getting it back, that staying for a sake of loyalty will drag them down too. Be honest and let the group know how you are feeling. Take responsibility for your own experience. Clarify what you do need and want. And if the group can't step up, then remove yourself and find a group that does serve you.

I'll say again, mastermind teams can be a powerful addition to your business success. In addition to working with my own coach, having a great team and awesome friends, I've always had a mastermind group. What about you?

Generating New Ideas For A Productive Job Script

Efforts to differentiate a job script from the myriad of others already in existence are never in vain. But these efforts aren't always easy to make. At one extreme, the characteristics of a standard job script contribute to a welcomed stable working environment - however clientele may not feel comfortable leaving a job software that's working just fine simply to try one that's no different. At the other extreme, a job script that's wildly different from the norm has the propensity to alienate itself from the industry altogether.

At some point, there has to be a happy medium in which a job software can attract and keep new clientele without scaring anyone away. The following offers a few suggestions you can use to keep your job script exciting and productive at the same time.

1. Lead a clientele directed job software. Let your clientele develop the job script's user agreement or establish effective communication methods. The idea here is to let both the freelancers and clients that use your job script shape their own online employment experience. In doing so, you will generate a tremendous amount of goodwill - however this suggestion does not come without warning. You must lead a clientele directed job software within reason. Nothing you allow your clientele to do should interfere with governing laws. Nor should they disrupt the reputation that you're trying to build.

2. Enforce a global pay rate on your job script. Our different currency rates give some freelancers and clients a financial advantage over one another simply because of the location in which they live. For example, the fees that a freelancer in India may charge may be significantly lower than the fees that a freelancer in North America may charge. To discourage disgruntled American workers from labeling your job script environment as a breeding ground for slave labor, enforce the first international pay scale that appropriates fees within a reasonable pay scale.

3. Set up and hold annual conventions for the people who use your job software. One of the best ways to instill the value of community is by hosting conventions for the people that have made your job script a success. A convention needn't be terribly expensive since there are certainly alternative, less-expensive ways to meet people. One such way is through an online convention - complete with video, speech, and chatrooms. Another way to physically get your clientele together is to meet at a sports event or at a low-cost luncheon.

4. Configure your job software so that it doesn't include weekends or holidays as workdays. Offline, very few people work on the weekend or holidays and chances are, job script administrators don't work on theses days either. So why include them inside the time span in which a project or job is to end? Both freelancers and clients welcome weekend and holiday breaks, so by automating them into your script, you'll yet again, break from the norm and create goodwill among your users at the same time

5. Send out monthly or bi-monthly surveys to your job software users and ask for feedback, suggestions, criticisms, and questions. By requesting ideas and suggestions for improvements, you'll show that you care about how well your job script is reaching its goals and satisfying the needs of your users at the same time.

6. Select a charity each month and dedicate a portion of the income your job software generates toward that charity. Another way to instill community is to band together toward a cause. By making a regular contribution to a charity of your choice (or of your clientele's choice), you can generate a sense of family among your users and help improve the environment or society all at once.

7. Feature a "Freelancer" or "Client of the Month" section on your job script. Sooner or later, your users are going to get curious about each other and a special section dedicated to spotlighting one individual out of many is an appropriate way to satisfy that curiosity. Featured users could submit their own personal stories and with an accompanying photograph while the whole gang gets to know who uses your job software on a personal level, one-by-one.

8. Display industry news as part of your job script. A little more difficult to implement than the above suggestions, this idea has the potential of providing direction to your existing user base, or - validating the intentions of those whom may be questioning their choices. When your clients see actual news stories about the industry that they're working right from the very job software that they use every day, they can get a good idea of how their efforts contribute to its development.

Now if you have no income then you have no business. So many times just changing one small thing can create a huge result in the game of prospecting. Let’s talk today about the bottom line, prospecting effectively so you can generate an income in your business.

These strategies that I am going to teach you are the exact same methods that I have used personally in business during the last 17 years and have trained tens of thousands of others with as well. Not a lot of fluff, nonsense and motivation, because we all know that isn’t going to make anyone money.

Three Things In Prospecting That Make All The Difference In Your Communicating

People try to communicate with a prospect in a way most often that they don’t even realize. After coaching with thousands of people I have noticed some of the strangest things. I have people on a coaching call with me, they are confident and assured and then all of a sudden their tone of voice changes, poof- they are fearful. They begin acting like what they believe they should be rather than being themselves. Be yourself- you’re the best at that! Here are three things that will make a huge difference in your prospecting results.

1. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it.
2. 93% of all communication is non-verbal. Only 7% is verbal.
3. What is in your mind when you are prospecting is what you are marketing

It’s not what you say it’s how you say it. Here’s the proof, advertisers on television and on the radio have figured this out. It’s about tonality, it’s about facial expressions. Even when you are prospecting on the phone in an internet business you can hear when people are smiling and you can hear when they are fearful. What are you communicating to people?

We’ve all heard the popular drug commercials where they paint a picture in our mind where we have to have that drug, we have to have relief from all that is bothering us, we pick up the phone and order the drugs. Yet in the same tone of voice that they painted this perfect picture of how their drugs are going to help us, they told us that we might have abdominal cramping, we are going to have diarrhea, we are going to have lack of sex drive, we are going to have memory loss and in rare cases we actually could die. But we order the drugs because it is not what they said it is how they say it.

93% of all communication is non-verbal. Only 7% has to do with the words that you are speaking. Are you fearful? That is what you are communicating. Are you manipulating? That is what you are communicating. Are you direct and confident? That is what you are communicating. Are you sincerely putting the needs of your prospect first or are you just hoping the person on the line will give you their credit card? Are you being genuinely interested in your prospect and really concerned about how you can help them become a success? These are the things that you are communicating and your prospect can hear them.

Whatever is in your mind when you are prospecting is what you are communicating Do you have assuredness or do you weaken when it comes to the close? Do you hold a position of confidence until it comes to the time when you have to ask someone to make a decision to get started? Does fear come in at the close? This is what you are communicating. You are communicating that I am not confident about my business and I am fearful to ask you for money because I am really not sure if anyone really can be successful in this.

You can’t lead with fear. You must get over it! Tell your body how to act, tell your body that your non-verbal communication is going have to change in order for your results to change. You can’t lead with fear, you can’t sweet talk people into your business, you have to be yourself. The most effective way to speak to your prospect is the exact same way you speak to anyone.

If you are a parent and you have a child that must clean their room authority will come out of you when you tell that son or daughter to clean that room. You expect it to be done and you give a command to get the job done. When you are speaking to your prospect you must lead with authority, the authority of a business developer. You are interviewing for a long term business relationship and you are not looking for Joe Six-Pack with his Bud Light and his Cheetos. You need to step up to the posture that you need to have. Put it on like a pair of pants. Pretend if you have to! Your results will change, I promise you!

When your non-verbal communication matches what you are saying and you have the belief of where you are going and what you are doing- then results will begin to soar thru the roof. Most often people begin to act like what they think a Network Marketer is. What the heck is a Network Marketer is what I always ask! Be yourself. That is the best you can be and this is what you will be once you make that six-figure income you desire. Drop the agenda of pretending to be someone you are not and lead with the agenda of helping a prospect discover the information they need to get started in a life transformation thru their own home based business. Remember, your non-verbal communication is active all the time. What you are hearing from me right now is that I have the conviction that what I am telling you will work, if you will do it and believe in it. I have seen people go from horrible failure to amazing successful results when these things principles click in. You’ll get to the point where people are wanting to follow you, they are wanting what you have and they are looking to go where you are going.

Pretend that you are the person already that you know you are going to become. Pretend that the bank acct is already filled with the million dollars, pretend that your organization is already filled with thousands of representatives. Be aware of the non-verbal communication

You already know how to speak with confidence, you already know how to speak with assuredness. You have done that in other areas of your life. Bring that to this table and your results will shock you! Make this the best month you’ve ever had. Explode your sales this month. Let this be the month that you give it all you’ve got and it will end up paying you more than you have ever imagined.
